Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the federal No Surprises Act, patients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before care begins.

What that means here

Knapp Family Chiropractic is a cash practice, so every patient receives clear pricing up front as a matter of course. Before care begins you will know what your visit includes and what it costs, in writing on request.

Your rights

• You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule care, in writing.
• If you receive a bill at least $400 above the Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it.
• Keep a copy of your estimate with your records.
